Bob Temmerman’s Ride for The ACTEC Foundation
Bob Temmerman has his final destination of Philadelphia in his sights and a new appreciation for the size of Pennsylvania! He has ridden through five states and the full spectrum of weather – heat, rain, and beautiful autumn temperatures. His cell phone/navigation device had an untimely death outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Fortunately, some of his fellow bikers caught up with him and helped him navigate into downtown Pittsburgh. Bob’s wife Laura has now joined him for the remainder of the ride to Philly. A day of rest and a new cell phone have him back in the saddle again with renewed vigor.
Bob’s goal for this epic adventure was to raise awareness and funds for The ACTEC Foundation. As of Friday, October 11, The ACTEC Foundation received over $16,000 of the $25,000 goal. One hundred percent of The ACTEC Foundation Board has donated to the campaign! Bob hoped that every Fellow would give a penny a mile or $10. Thank you to everyone who has made a donation. Bob is due to arrive in Philadelphia on Wednesday. If you haven’t gotten around to it, now’s the time to show your support.
