ACTEC Foundation President John T Rogers, Jr. is pleased to announce the first Annual ACTEC Foundation Longest Drive Challenge to raise support for the lifelong learning initiatives of The Foundation. The winning golfer will claim the official ACTEC Foundation Golden Driver, be photographed virtually with the driver and their clubs, and be announced in an email and on the Foundation’s website.
The Challenge will take place over a period of four weeks, one round per week, with a winner announced each week (the golfer whose ball was driven the farthest during that week), and an overall challenge winner (the golfer whose ball was driven the farthest during the entire Challenge) named at the end.
This year’s golfers include new State Chairs – those who have assumed the role within the last two years: Cameron Seybolt of the Great Lakes Region and Minnesota State Chair; Shannon Barks of the Heart of America Region and Missouri State Chair; Glenn Fox of the Mid-Atlantic Region and Downstate New York State Chair; Lisa Rico of the New England Region and Massachusetts State Chair; Merry Balson of the Rocky Mountain Region and Colorado State Chair; Kimberly Stogner of the Southeast Region and North Carolina State Chair; Gray Edmonson of the Southern Region and Mississippi State Chair; and Lauren Garner of the Western Region and Arizona State Chair.
Every dollar you donate to The ACTEC Foundation propels your favorite golfer’s ball another foot down the fairway – the longest drive wins!
Golfers are teeing up! …help drive them home! The Longest Drive Challenge ends on Wednesday, May 17 at 5:00 pm ET.
Announcements will be shared weekly via an email to ACTEC Fellows and shared in the Weekly Update.
