Spring Fundraiser – Week 2 Wednesday Update

May 3, 2023 | News

Make YOUR donation today and knock your Region’s golfer onto the green! The 2023 ACTEC Foundation’s Longest Drive Challenge is in full swing!

The winner of Round 2 (donations raised April 26-May 2) is:

The Southeast Region’s Kimberly Stogner

First place: Who’s your Caddy? “The Demon Deacon” of the Southeast Region, Kim Stogner, drove the fairway a whopping 417 yards, raising $1250 in the last week.

Second place: Going long for 367 yards, while braving the Rocky Mountain winds and snow to place 2nd and raise $1100, is Merry Balson

Third place: In a display of “Go Big or Go Home” Empire State tenacity, the “Mid-Atlantic Marvel” Glenn Fox came in 3rd, hitting a 250-yard monster down the mid-way, raising $750 in Round 2!

The Challenge is still looking for a Cinderella Story!

Trailing on the Leaderboard are:

New England Fellows: Lisa Rico needs your support to power her forward in the next round, and is looking for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont Fellows to “be the ball.”

Western Fellows: Lauren Garner needs your donation. The Arizona desert is full of sand traps, and she needs Fellows from Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Western Canada to drive her “off the beach” and onto the podium in Round 3

Heart of America Fellows: Shannon Barks is seeking your backing. She is set and ready to airmail her ball onto the leaderboard for Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma Fellows.

(Standings as of Noon Eastern Time on May 3)

Every dollar you donate drives your golfer’s ball another foot! Move your region’s golfer into first place next week by donating today!
