Resources for Trust and Estate Law Professors and Law Schools

The ACTEC Foundation is committed to providing resources to help trust and estate professors educate future leaders in the trust and estate practice. Mentoring future trust and estate attorneys is a critical facet of the education they are receiving. Wills clinics are one way to give 2Ls and 3Ls real-world experience in the practice of trust and estate law. The ACTEC Foundation supported grant funding for three Wills clinics: Harvard University, the University of Tennessee, and the University of Wyoming, and also supported the development at the University of Oregon of a mentorship program that pairs students with attorneys to provide pro bono estate planning services.

The ACTEC Foundation makes the resources listed below available without charge to trust and estate professors as part of its mission to promotes scholarship and education in trust, estate, tax, and related areas of the law by supporting scholarship to improve the law and by encouraging teaching, careers and life-long learning in the area.

If your law school is interested in applying for an ACTEC Foundation grant, please complete the Grant Application Form and send the completed application via email to amy.michaud@actec.org.
